Twelve new children joined our school in Kot’olin for the start of the 2025/26 school year. We also welcomed two new members to our teaching team: Ferina, who began her training as a kindergarten teacher with us, and Theo, who joined as a primary school teacher.
Alongside these new beginnings, the following months brought plenty of the everyday moments that make a school feel alive: shared activities, colourful creations and space for children to explore their own ideas.

As our school grows, so does the team supporting the children each day. Ferina is starting her journey into kindergarten teaching, learning through practical experience at our school. Theo strengthens our primary school team as the children continue their education beyond kindergarten.
We are pleased to welcome them both and look forward to building this next chapter together.
Small Materials, Big Possibilities
The photographs from these first months capture how much can happen with simple materials. Around a shared sheet of paper, children added their own colours and shapes to a painting. In other activities, they drew, cut and glued, creating pictures of trees, flowers and animals.
A collection of stones became a face arranged on a piece of cloth. Chairs, fabric and clothes pegs became a shelter to crawl into and play beneath. A large cloth held around a circle brought children together for a group activity, with plenty of smiles along the way.
These activities give children opportunities to try out ideas, handle different materials and create alongside one another. There is room for careful concentration as well as movement and laughter.
Making the School More Comfortable
Alongside the teaching, we also continued improving the school environment during 2025. We installed a sliding door to help keep rain out of the terrace area in bad weather, built drainage and carried out smaller improvements around the grounds.
These practical jobs rarely become a story of their own, but they help make the spaces we use each day more comfortable and functional.
With new children, new colleagues and many small improvements, our school continued to take shape. The photographs offer a glimpse of that everyday work and the creativity and enjoyment that fill it.
